From innovative niche technology to standard of care.
A breakthrough was being sold as a gadget, when it belonged in the
clinical workflow.
1.The Situation
The technology was, and still is today, genuinely ahead of its market, but it was positioned as impressive hardware, a thing to admire rather than a method to adopt. Clinicians saw novelty, not necessity. Without a clinical reason to standardize on it, adoption stalled at the pilot, and pipeline filled with curiosity instead of intent.
2.The Work
We moved the story from what the technology is to what it makes possible at the chair and in the lab, reframing it as a better standard of care rather than a new device. Outcome-led messaging connected the capability to patient results and to the practice economics that let a buyer say yes. The brand stopped selling the machine and started selling the practice it enabled.
3.The Result
34% increase in qualified pipeline.
15% year-over-year sales growth.
4.The Principle
People do not adopt impressive technology.
They adopt a better way
to do their work.
